Sounds good - ECHOS new project

 El proyecto eTwinning "Sounds good: ECHOS (eTwinning Community Holistic Strategy) for wellbeing" empieza su actividad este curso 2024/2025 con la participación de dos centros españoles y tres italianos:

- Conservatorio Profesional de música "Manuel Carra" de Málaga (España)
- Instituto de Educación Secundaria "José Martínez Ruiz Azorín" de Yecla, Murcia (España)
- Istituto onmicomprensivo "F. de Sanctis" de Cervinara (Italia)
- Liceo delle scienze umane e musicale "S. Satta" de Nuoro (Italia)
- Istituto Tecnico tecnológico "E. Scalfaro" de Catanzaro (Italia)

This project will explore the role of music and art in education and teens’ well-being at school with a particular focus on inclusiveness and common European values. 

AIMS

  1. Foster an appreciation for the role of music and art in education among students aged 14-18.
  2. Explore the impact of music and art on teens' well-being in the school environment.
  3. Promote inclusiveness by creating a collaborative environment where all students feel valued and respected.
  4. Cultivate a sense of belonging and community among participants through shared creative experiences.
  5. Encourage students to express their emotions and thoughts through various artistic mediums
  6. Develop empathy and understanding by discussing and reflecting on the similarities and differences among participants' cultural backgrounds.
  7. Encourage critical thinking about common European values and their relevance in contemporary society.
  8. Provide opportunities for students to collaborate with peers from different cultural backgrounds, fostering intercultural dialogue and cooperation.
  9. Empower students to use music and art as tools for self-expression and communication.
  10. Promote holistic well-being by integrating activities that address physical, emotional, and social aspects of health and happiness.
  11. Develop linguistic and digital skills throughout the project activities.
  12. Improve our students’ social skills, enhance communication and collaboration through cross-cultural experiences.
