Sounds good - ECHOS new project
El proyecto eTwinning "Sounds good: ECHOS (eTwinning Community Holistic Strategy) for wellbeing" empieza su actividad este curso 2024/2025 con la participación de dos centros españoles y tres italianos:
- Conservatorio Profesional de música "Manuel Carra" de Málaga (España)
- Instituto de Educación Secundaria "José Martínez Ruiz Azorín" de Yecla, Murcia (España)
- Istituto onmicomprensivo "F. de Sanctis" de Cervinara (Italia)
- Liceo delle scienze umane e musicale "S. Satta" de Nuoro (Italia)
- Istituto Tecnico tecnológico "E. Scalfaro" de Catanzaro (Italia)
This project will explore the role of music and art in education and teens’ well-being at school with a particular focus on inclusiveness and common European values.
AIMS
- Foster an appreciation for the role of music and art in education among students aged 14-18.
- Explore the impact of music and art on teens' well-being in the school environment.
- Promote inclusiveness by creating a collaborative environment where all students feel valued and respected.
- Cultivate a sense of belonging and community among participants through shared creative experiences.
- Encourage students to express their emotions and thoughts through various artistic mediums
- Develop empathy and understanding by discussing and reflecting on the similarities and differences among participants' cultural backgrounds.
- Encourage critical thinking about common European values and their relevance in contemporary society.
- Provide opportunities for students to collaborate with peers from different cultural backgrounds, fostering intercultural dialogue and cooperation.
- Empower students to use music and art as tools for self-expression and communication.
- Promote holistic well-being by integrating activities that address physical, emotional, and social aspects of health and happiness.
- Develop linguistic and digital skills throughout the project activities.
- Improve our students’ social skills, enhance communication and collaboration through cross-cultural experiences.
